November 2023 - The Languages Show 2023
About me...
I am a keen linguist with a true passion for languages and travel. Teaching and learning have always been a huge part of who I am, inspired by my mum, the most inspirational teacher I have ever seen.
After completing my BA in Modern Foreign Languages in 2009 and my PGCE a year later, I embarked on a rewarding 14-year career as a teacher and leader in education. Moving to the UAE in 2020, I became the CEO of ‘The Curriculum Consultant’, enabling me to share my expertise with teachers and leaders across the Middle East and beyond. I currently serve as the BSME Lead for MFL, am a Chartered College of Teaching Research Champion and a newly nominated Fellow. A real highlight this year for me, aside from presenting at a range of amazing International Educational events, was being shortlisted for the ‘TES International Teacher of the Year’ - what an honour.
Passionate about nurturing students' intellectual growth and fostering a love for collaboration and sharing good practice, I am committed to educational excellence through research-informed teaching and learning and CPD. Teaching from the heart goes a long way and I invite you to embark on this lifelong learning journey with me.
